About The Mach 1 Forza
Anyone can make a power paddle, but it takes the right touch to make it usable. This is a paddle for power, but clean power. It does what you want it to do, consistently with every hit. It’s balanced and fast in your hand, or both hands if you’re doing a two-hander with the elongated handle.
It can be soft when you need it to be, but when you punch it, you’ll hear that satisfying pop and watch it crush. Thermoformed for hard hits, foam-injected edge to hold strong and open up that sweet spot, and carefully heat sealed along the edges to cook it all together for good.
And with a premium Toray T700 carbon fiber face, it will have opponents stumbling in all directions with spin.
It’s a clean paddle, but if you want to dirty up your game with some lead tape, go nuts. It’s the ideal thermoformed canvas for customizing a paddle to just how you like it.

I’ve demo’d dozens of paddles and even been an ambassador for Ace Pickleball yet I haven’t get a paddle with this much power, control, and spin combined. I’m used to worrying about the performance of my paddle before matches but have been relieved recently because of the mach1 Forza.

After about 3 months of playing pickleball, I switched from an $50 graphite paddle to the Volair Mach 1 Forza, and it was like unlocking super powers! I picked the Mach 1 for its power and spin, but I think I ended up gaining just as much control. Although I’ve played with many other paddles since then, the Mach 1 Forza remained my go-to for over 8 months. It’s just such a well-rounded paddle that can still push the power-game.
During the 8 months of intense usage -- 2 hours a day on average -- I had to repair the edge guard a number of times from scraping the ground or accidentally hitting other paddles, but the core remained solid. As most paddle experts will tell you, there is a break-in period that slightly changes the dynamics of a paddle, but even after nearly a year of abuse, there was no audible crackling or core-crushing. It’s a quality paddle.
Personally, I found that adding a bit of lead tape around the neck improved my stability and sweet spot without sacrificing much hand speed, but this thing is good out of the box. My father-in-law, who introduced me to the game, and my brother, who’s even crazier about pickleball than I am, both now use a Mach 1 Forza, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

This paddle is equally as good if not better than some of the more pricey paddles. The carbon is perfect. Definitely going to be my main paddle I absolutely love it!
