I LOVE the shape and profile of this paddle, wide paddle face but also long handle are a perfect combo. The face is suuuuper grippy giving crazy spin. And it has just the right amount of plush-ness and control.

This is the best paddle i have played with. Previously I played with an engage ex 6.0 and it was too powerful for me. The mach 2 forza was a huge switch for me but it’s a very nice paddle. Has great control, a nice soft touch, and the spin is crazy!

I had designed the perfect pickleball paddle for me in my head, and when I saw the specs on this paddle, I knew it was everything I was looking for. My prior favorites were the Joola Colin Johns Scorpeus and the Six Zero Double Black Diamond. This is a widebody design, wide sweet spot, low swingweight, high pop speed, and high spin. The spin to speed ratio is the best of any paddle I’ve tried. I am a 4.0 player that emphasizes the 3rd shot drop to get to the kitchen to win points. This paddle excels at the soft game and defense but has plenty of pop for speedups at the kitchen. The sweet spot is wide and closer to your hand than most elongated or hybrid designs. This has given me a one hand backhand roll and drive that ends points. It is a shot I don’t have with an elongated paddle which is too long and slow for me to execute it well. Overall, I play a noticeably higher level with this paddle.
Thanks Volair for the awesome design and execution on this paddle. It fits me perfectly.

The first is for customer service and the purchasing process. I ordered my M2F 14mm online Thursday night and received it Monday morning. Ordering was simple and when it arrived… what a treat. The box with all the extra goodies (paddle cover, extra different color grip and grip band, carbon eraser) added so much value to the purchase. Then to my surprise I received a Volair water bottle a few days later. The whole thing was first class!

The second thumb up is for the paddle. The low swing weight and small grip has allowed me to beef it up exactly to my liking. It is so fast in the hand and the sweet spot is enormous. The feel, touch and spin are the best I’ve ever experienced. This paddle is the answer to beating bangers, and everyone else!

I think more lower-level players should be playing with standard or wide-body shaped paddles. This Mach 2 Forza has a lot going for it. The wide body provides a huge sweet spot with a high twist weight for stability. The longer handle offers more leverage and with it, power. The low swing weight means better maneuverability at the net. Oh, and there is also amazing spin. Hmm, that actually sounds like good stuff most of us could use!

About The Mach 2 Forza

Engineered for commanding power, this paddle delivers consistent performance with every strike.

It is balanced and fast in your hand, or both hands if you’re doing a two-hander with our elongated handle.

The thermoformed unibody supports your hard hits, the foam-injected edge holds strong and opens up that sweet spot, and it is carefully heat-sealed along the edges.

And with a premium Toray T700 Carbon Fiber face, it will have opponents stumbling in all directions with spin.

It’s a clean paddle, but if you want to dirty up your game with some lead tape, go nuts. It’s the ideal thermoformed canvas for customizing a paddle to just how you like it.

Gets the job done

I have the Mach 2 Forza 14mm. It's a good paddle that I find easy to play with, is quick in the hands for net battles and produces good spin. There seems to be a dead spot at the top of the paddle, kind of a thud sound sometimes, but the ball goes over so not the cleanest shot but stays in play. The sweet spot is lower on the face, which is fine, but the thud sound let's me know I missed the sweet spot. Not tons of power and I don't really generate a lot of my own so nothing flashy on the power end, but the ball stays in bounds, my shots are accurate, good control, not prone to unwanted popups and I'm winning a good amount of my matches so really pretty happy. Was getting a knot in my shoulder with my other paddle, not happening with this one. Thinking I'll order the 16mm at some point to have both and compare the difference.

Originally bought the Mach 2 Forza 16mm. I was disappointed the static weight came in at 8.26oz. It’s just too heavy to start with so I exchange it for the 14mm version. That came in at a static weight of 7.70z which is perfect for my needs. Added an overgrip and 3 grams of tungsten tape on each side, and had a final static weight of 8oz. Here’s how it compared to my Six Zero DBD 16mm.
Power - I don’t feel any difference between this and the DBD after I added the perimeter weighting at 4 and 8 o’clock which is a good thing.
Pop - definitely has more pop than the Mach 2 Forza 16mm but it is still softer/less poppier than the DBD.
Spin - definitely has more spin than the DBD.
Control - I can control this better than the DBD.
Sweet spot is excellent but I think the DBD has a larger sweet spot, but not by much. Maybe because the DBD has a bit longer paddle face? But again it’s not by much and once you get used to the length of the paddle, the 0.3” shorter length compared to DBD is not noticeable.
Lighter weight and faster than the DBD near the kitchen line.
Easier for my 2-handed backhand since it has longer grip. Great price after discount code (Alpha10) which makes it cheaper than the DBD.
In summary, the 14mm (with tungsten tape) is a more controllable, more maneuverable and spinny version of the Six Zero Double Black Diamond. Highly recommend!

My Wife grabbed it!

I bought this to replace a power paddle that had no touch. I used the Mach 2 Forza for about an hour and then let my wife try it. I haven’t seen it since then. She loves it. For her, she’s replacing an older version Paddletek Tempest Wave Pro. The Mach 2 Forza has a much larger sweet spot, more spin, and she’s really enjoying it. Thanks for a great paddle!
