I had designed the perfect pickleball paddle for me in my head, and when I saw the specs on this paddle, I knew it was everything I was looking for. My prior favorites were the Joola Colin Johns Scorpeus and the Six Zero Double Black Diamond. This is a widebody design, wide sweet spot, low swingweight, high pop speed, and high spin. The spin to speed ratio is the best of any paddle I’ve tried. I am a 4.0 player that emphasizes the 3rd shot drop to get to the kitchen to win points. This paddle excels at the soft game and defense but has plenty of pop for speedups at the kitchen. The sweet spot is wide and closer to your hand than most elongated or hybrid designs. This has given me a one hand backhand roll and drive that ends points. It is a shot I don’t have with an elongated paddle which is too long and slow for me to execute it well. Overall, I play a noticeably higher level with this paddle.

The first is for customer service and the purchasing process. I ordered my M2F 14mm online Thursday night and received it Monday morning. Ordering was simple and when it arrived… what a treat. The box with all the extra goodies (paddle cover, extra different color grip and grip band, carbon eraser) added so much value to the purchase. Then to my surprise I received a Volair water bottle a few days later. The whole thing was first class!

The second thumb up is for the paddle. The low swing weight and small grip has allowed me to beef it up exactly to my liking. It is so fast in the hand and the sweet spot is enormous. The feel, touch and spin are the best I’ve ever experienced. This paddle is the answer to beating bangers, and everyone else!

I think more lower-level players should be playing with standard or wide-body shaped paddles. This Mach 2 Forza has a lot going for it. The wide body provides a huge sweet spot with a high twist weight for stability. The longer handle offers more leverage and with it, power. The low swing weight means better maneuverability at the net. Oh, and there is also amazing spin. Hmm, that actually sounds like good stuff most of us could use!

Volair paddle shipping

Volair paddle box case was dented/damage upon receiving the item. It ruined the unboxing experience touted on social media. It looks like the paddle box case was already dented beforehand and then packaged into shipping box. The paddle itself was ok but will see how the surface grit holds up.

Great control and feel

The Mach 2 feels so good. Has tremendous feel on touch shots and has plenty of power on drives. I have both the Mach 1 and 2. Not sure which one I like better. They are both great!

I've recently purchased 5 paddles, Forza Mach 2 14mm, Bread & Butter Filth, Vatic Pro Prism Flash 14mm, PIKKL Hurricane Pro 14mm and the CRBN 2X 14mm. I play doubles with a regular group of 4 or 5 players, 3 of which have tried most or all of these paddles. The 4th player tried the Filth, loved it, and I sold it to him because it's swing weight was far to high for me to use effectively.

Two of us prefer the Forza Mach 2 for its overall functionality being great at everything which includes spin, control, forgiveness, pop. Of all the paddles listed, the CBRN has the most power but gives of a bit in control to the Forza which to me matters a ton. One of the players loves the Hurricane Pro the best having hit all of my new paddles. The only paddle that didn't stand out against the rest was the Vatic Pro. The Vatic Pro in comparison is, "ok" but didn't do anything great, again in comparison to the other paddles. Not one of us want to use the Prism Flash because is simply not as all around functional as the others. Way too much hype on Pickleheads, and Pickleball Effect regarding the Vatic Pro. When three of us like it the least of all, and we all play way differently, that's not just a coincidence. The Forza Mach 2, CRBN, and Hurricane Pro are simply better paddles with the Forza being my favorite and my partners' favorite bottom line end of story. I make "WAY" less mistakes with the Forza Mach 2 14mm and my partner's hand speed is noticeably improved at the kitchen with the Forza Mach 2. Love the spin, control, forgiveness, and it has enough power and pop for me to be a problem for my opponents. If you are on the fence on buying the Forza Mach 2, don't be. It's an absolutely wonderful paddle that is so versatile. It's a wall. No control issues with the 14mm and I love the lower swing weight, paddle weight and extra pop. Great packaging also with nice accessories standard. Volair hit this one out the park. A little on the expensive side but it’s a price after using “ALPHA10” for a discount. I like having multiple paddles but the Mach 2 Forza will be in my hands A LOT! Definitely a keeper. Check it out guys!
