I recently received the Volarie Mach 1 paddle, and I must say I am thoroughly disappointed with it. As an avid pickleball player with three years of experience and a 4.5 level skill, I believe I have a good understanding of what makes a paddle great. Unfortunately, the Mach 1 falls short in several crucial aspects.
First and foremost, the touch of this paddle is abysmal. When compared to the competition, it lacks the finesse and precision that I have come to expect from a high-quality paddle. The response is sluggish, and I often find myself struggling to execute delicate shots with accuracy.
Furthermore, the Mach 1 offers a distinct lack of feel and control. It's as if I have lost my connection to the game when using this paddle. My shots lack the precision I'm accustomed to, and I can't seem to place the ball where I want it. This has negatively impacted my performance on the court, and it's frustrating to see my game suffer due to the limitations of the paddle.
In hindsight, I deeply regret not opting for the new Mach 1 FORZA instead. It appears that Volarie has made significant improvements in their newer model, and I can't help but wish I had chosen it instead. It's disheartening to think that I invested my hard-earned money in a paddle that fails to meet my expectations.
If I can send it back for the Forza I would.

The Volair Mach 1 is a staple for me now. I’ve used them all- paddletek, joola, electrum, CRBN, diadem, gearbox, etc. Volair’s Mach1 DELIVERS. It has a great surface, giving you the carbon fiber spin & control everyone is looking for. The big difference is that the durability of the Carbon face is much more than other brands, I just bought a 2nd paddle & feel little to no difference on the faces of the one that’s hit over 5,000 balls & the brand new paddle. Can’t say the same for my previous Joola’s. This paddle has a very hard/sturdy feel to it, yet it plays with soft results. My control/soft game is unparalleled, rivals the original CRBN feel. Good construction, solid durability through 3 months of 4 days a week. No issues with rattles up top, the handle & edge guard held up. The long handle perfect for 2 handed backhands- the top being rounded to eliminate a bad sweet spot part of the paddle for movement efficiency. The weight is balanced & a good starting point if you choose to add tape. At this price point especially, it’s a banger!! !

I am very pleased with the performance of the Mach 1 Paddle. I had a 14" paddle before and decided to increase to a 16" paddle. My short game has improved dramatically with this paddle. Dinking and short shots have become so much more accurate. I am so happy performance of this paddle !
