This is how foam should feel
Pickleball is drowning in the same numb-feeling paddles where you can't tell where you’re contacting the ball. So we built the SHIFT to restore the vibrant, responsive feel that's been missing since foam took over. We built this paddle with top 10 pro Dylan Frazier, who tested over 60 prototypes to dial in one that felt just right.
The SHIFT is a dense, dwelly, and powerful paddle that is extremely responsive for patient play, and loaded with power when you choose to attack. With the first dink, you’ll sense exactly where the ball makes contact while delivering exceptional touch and spin to bend the ball precisely where you want it.
Engineered from the ground up
The SHIFT uses a patent-pending, full-foam bespoke core we designed from scratch.
We carved three blade-shaped channels through the foam that act as flex zones that expand and contract to pocket the ball, amplifying spin and feedback. The channels graduate from thin at the center to thicker at the edges, preserving a consistent feel across the entire face.
The EVA perimeter peninsula adds forgiveness with adaptive support: beefed up at the throat to expand the sweet spot, and thinned at the top to eliminate the dead zone. We also added a thin outer ring of carbon-infused, expanded edge foam that wraps the perimeter of the face. Denser and stiffer, it delivers greater perimeter weighting for a bigger sweet spot and rock-solid stability.
Because the core isn’t entirely isolated and still connected to the handle, you get the accessible feedback of Gen 3 paddles without any of the harsh vibrations. You'll enjoy the best of both worlds: a maneuverable 14mm paddle with the power and dwell of a 16mm.
