CTRL 1 16mm Forza

The best surface on a pickleball paddle I've played with. For me, this paddle is a true control paddle. The ability to neutralize speed-ups and control dink battles are its' best qualities. If you expect crazy power out of a paddle with ctrl in its name, you might be let down. Top tier spin, hand-speed enabling, and above average sweet spot are the reasons I gave this paddle 5-stars. Just note, if you're coming from a gearbox/paddletek/joola MOD, this will take you awhile to get use to (power/pop differences).

CTRL

I took advantage of the BOGO to get both a CTRL1 and 2. I'm a Mach 2 Forza user. I wanted to try an elongated paddle and the new construction. I'm 70+ so definitely not a power player and rely on placement and spin. The Mach 2 Forza fit my game well. I've only played with the CTRL 1 so far and prefer it over the Mach 2 Forza. I think it allows more control as it seems as the ball stays on the paddle longer. Dinking is much better. There's enough power and I can hit it to spots better.
